The Yoroidoshi (鎧通し) — armor-piercer — in the 柄巻きカイデックスグリップ form factor. VG1 stainless steel with blast wave pattern finish and kanmuri-otoshi (冠落とし) crown-drop geometry. The handle is a Kydex grip in the 柄巻き (tsukamaki — literally "handle wrap": the traditional Japanese method of wrapping cord or leather around a sword/knife hilt) profile per MFG's "柄巻きカイデックスグリップモデル" designation. Note: this is a Kydex form factor shaped to evoke the 柄巻き wrap profile, not actual cord-wrapping. Kydex neck-holder sheath standard; Tek-lok version available. 215mm overall, 100mm blade, 3mm spine. Handcrafted in Japan to order. Lead time approximately 2 months.
