Refund & Returns Policy

Because every Mononofu knife is handmade to order specifically for you, our refund policy differs from standard retail. Please read carefully before placing your order.

Deposit Refunds

• A 50% deposit ($325 on standard models) is required to begin your custom order.
• Deposits are fully refundable within 48 hours of placement, provided work has not yet begun on your knife.
• Once the craftsman begins work on your order, the deposit is non-refundable, as materials have been committed and labor has started.

Cancellations

• Within 48 hours: Full deposit refund.
• After 48 hours / work has begun: Deposit is non-refundable. If exceptional circumstances apply, contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Completed Knife Orders

• Before final payment, you will receive photos of your completed knife for approval.
• Once final payment is made and the knife ships, sales are final.
• If your knife arrives with a manufacturing defect, contact us within 7 days of delivery for resolution.

Defects & Warranty

• Every Mononofu knife is inspected before shipping. If you receive a knife with a defect in materials or craftsmanship, we will repair or replace it at no cost.
• Normal wear, misuse, improper maintenance, or modifications void the warranty.
• Contact info@lumina28design.com with photos of any defect within 7 days of delivery.

Merchandise Returns

• Merch items (apparel, accessories) may be returned within 30 days of delivery in unused, original condition.
• Buyer pays return shipping. Refund is issued upon receipt and inspection.

How to Request a Refund

Email info@lumina28design.com with your order number and reason for the request. We respond within 24–48 hours.
